A product that is forbidden for everyone
The product that we forbid eating altogether is a well-known one - margarine.
Why?
Because margarine is harmful because of its high content of trans fats.
Trans fats are very harmful to the body, as they actively increase the level of bad cholesterol, which is deposited on the walls of blood vessels, and reduce the level of good cholesterol.
But even if you never buy margarine and are sure that you are immune to trans fats, unfortunately, this is not the case. 🤷🏼♀️
Hydrogenated fats are found in many other foods, and we can safely say that they are everywhere.
Namely:
Ready-made baked goods such as crackers, cookies and cakes;
Fried foods such as donuts and French fries;
They are also abundant in almost all semi-finished products:
chilled dough, pizza;
meat and fish products - fish
chips, snacks, crackers, nuts;
popcorn, sauces, mayonnaise;
In order to avoid this product in your diet, read the product scan and pay attention to the words like:
vegetable fat;
cocoa butter substitute;
confectionery fat;
modified fats;
hydrogenated oil;
palm oil (not natural);
modified cooking fat;
If you don't want to eat junk food and break records for cholesterol levels, there is nothing left to do but to reconsider your diet as a whole.
- Do not visit fast food restaurants;
- avoid street food;
- cook at home, more simple and healthy food. For example, chicken breast, fish, turkey, eggs, vegetables, more grains and fruits.
- Do not buy foods that contain trans fats;
