Ingredients:

  • olive oil – 1-2 tbsp
  • ready-made buns – 2-3 pcs
  • any sausage of your choice – 2-3 pcs
  • bacon – 100 g
  • mustard – 2-3 tbsp
  • ketchup – 1-3 tbsp
  • chili flakes – 1 tbsp
  • paprika – 1 tbsp
  • leek or any sweet – 1 pc
  • lettuce leaves – 1 bunch
  • brown sugar – 1 tsp

Method of preparation:

  1. First of all, make the topping: fry the bacon in a frying pan until crispy and golden, and transfer it to a paper towel to drain all the fat.
  2. Cut the onion into very thin slices and fry in olive oil, add brown sugar at the end to caramelize the onion, mix well, and fry until the onion darkens.
  3. Transfer it to a paper towel and set aside to let the fat drain.
  4. Grill the sausages well.
  5. Sauce: combine mustard, chili flakes, paprika, and mix well.
  6. Chop the bacon very finely, add the onion, and go over everything with a knife and mix.
  7. Put the buns in the oven or microwave for just a few minutes to make them soft.
  8. Cut the buns lengthwise, put a lettuce leaf, topping, sausage, topping again, pour the sauce over everything, and ketchup on top, cover with a second piece of bun, and serve.
