A la carte lukum at home: how to make a delicious dessert
If you are a fan of oriental sweets, the following dessert is definitely for you. It combines a variety of nuts, dried fruits, and a delicate sweet mass. All the ingredients freeze perfectly in the refrigerator, so you don't have to bake anything.
The idea of making a pouring dessert a la lucum was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Alex Mil (mil_alexx).
Ingredients:
- cottage cheese (0.2%) - 350 g
- sour cream (15%) - 100 g
- nuts - 200 g (2-3 types)
- dried apricots - 100 g
- cranberries (dried) - 100 g
- dates (pitted) - 100 g
- honey - 70 g
- gelatin - 20 g + 80 g of water
- vanilla sugar - 7 g
Method of preparation:
1. Mix gelatin with water and leave to swell.
2. Add sour cream, vanilla sugar, and liquid honey to the cottage cheese, and beat with a blender until smooth.
3. Melt the gelatin in a microwave, add to the curd mass and knead. The nuts should be toasted, but not cut. Chop the dried apricots and pit the dates.
4. Add the nuts, dried apricots, dates, and cranberries to the cottage cheese mixture and mix.
5. Pour into any convenient mold. A milk carton will do just fine.
6. Put in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
