5-ingredient marinade for lard: how to prepare
An appetizer with lard is always a win-win. This dish is quite satisfying and budget-friendly. And to give the lard a rich spicy flavor, it needs to be marinated in an extremely simple way that requires only five ingredients.

Ingredients (1 liter of water for 1 kg of lard):
- water - 1 liter
- black peppercorns - 15 pcs.
- bay leaves - 6 pcs.
- ground coriander - 1 tbsp.
- salt - 4 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Combine all the ingredients for the marinade.
2. Bring to a boil.
3. Cook for 2-3 minutes and cool.
4. Cut the lard into cubes about 6 by 12 cm.
5. Cut one head of garlic into rings.
6. Put the bacon in a container and cover with garlic.
7. Pour the cool marinade over.
8. Cover with a lid.
9. Leave at room temperature for three days.
10. Then refrigerate for another day.
11. Wrap each piece of lard in cling film and place in the freezer.
12. Before serving, defrost slightly and cut into thin slices.
