Englishwoman Angelica Hicks has created a Taylor Swift cosplay for the Grammy Awards 2024 that is barely distinguishable from the original. To achieve an exact copy of the singer's appearance, she used improvised means: a piece of cardboard, black tape, a sore throat candy, and a sheet.
Her video posted on TikTok received a lot of positive comments from Internet users who liked the image. This is not the first time Hicks, 31, has repeated the fashion decisions of stars, which is why she has gained a good audience of 507 thousand subscribers.
At the Grammys, Taylor Swift wore a light white Schiaparelli dress with long gloves and a layered necklace. In turn, Angelica Hicks replaced her dress with a white sheet, creating a frame from a piece of paper, gloves with black stockings, and experimented with candy, tape, tinsel and magazine clippings for her necklace.

While the black watch around the singer's neck was made of more than 300 carats of diamonds, Hicks assembled it from a piece of duct tape and a clipping of a watch from the first magazine she saw. The only thing that didn't match Taylor Swift's look was her sandals. The singer's are higher and more rounded, while the cosplayer chose lower shoes.
The video quickly went viral on TikTok, with over 28 million views. There were even Ukrainian women among the commenters. "This is how I was going to graduate in 2008," they wrote.
