How to remove dark circles under the eyes and rashes: an easy way to make home patches

Clear eyes and healthy skin - all this can be achieved with home care

The skin under the eyes is thin and sensitive, so you need to take special care of it. For such care, patches were invented - special compresses that allow you to saturate the skin with the necessary substances without pressure and friction. You can prepare them at home.

Soft cotton pads are a good base for patches - they absorb various cosmetics well and at the same time allow the skin to breathe while they are active. OBOZ.UA has collected several recipes for soaking such pads to take good care of the skin around the eyes.

How to make a patch from a cotton pad

Ophthalmologists do not recommend covering the entire eye with a whole disk. This way, the liquid from it can get on the mucous membranes and cause irritation and even inflammation. Therefore, it is necessary to cut out crescents or teardrop-shaped wavy shapes from the disk, which will be convenient to attach to the skin under the lower eyelid. Such patches can be used immediately after applying the product to them or put in the refrigerator for a while to enhance the effect of the mask by cooling. It will help to remove swelling and increase skin elasticity.

Cucumber is traditionally an effective moisturizer. To make a cucumber eye mask, peel a fresh fruit and grate or grind it in a blender. Soak cotton pads with the resulting juice and keep them under the eyes for 20-30 minutes, then remove the patches and rinse off the residue with warm water. You can also add a few drops of chilled green tea to this juice. And replace the cucumber with aloe vera juice.

Vitamin patches based on yogurt can be made by mixing two tablespoons of unsweetened Greek yogurt with the contents of capsules with vitamins A and E. A mixture of honey and olive oil will provide a similar nourishing effect. But such a mask should not be kept on for a long time - just 5-10 minutes will do.

A coffee remedy will help with swelling. To make it, mix 1 teaspoon of ground coffee with 1 teaspoon of honey. You can take half of the honey. Apply a thin layer of the mixture to the skin, cover with a patch and leave for 10-15 minutes, then gently rinse off the rest.

Chopped parsley mixed in equal proportions with almond oil will moisturize dehydrated skin. This remedy is also applied as an occlusive bandage and kept on for no more than 10-15 minutes.

Potato or tea patches will help remove dark circles. To prepare the first remedy, grate a small potato on a fine grater, squeeze the juice from this mass and soak the dry patch with it. You can keep it on for 15-20 minutes, then rinse it off and apply a cream to the skin. To make tea patches, brew black or green tea hard, cool it, soak the patch with the brew and keep it in the freezer for 5-10 minutes. The cold product can be kept on the skin for 10-15 minutes.
