American actress Katie Holmes demonstrated the perfect look for an evening promenade in the summer heat. The star kept her business style and made the outfit as comfortable as possible for the summer.

Holmes chose a navy blue open-sleeved sweater dress with a vertical stripe, which visually lengthened the silhouette. She complemented the look with elegant, yet simple ballet flats, Harper's Bazaar writes.

The celebrity's dress was made of boucle fabric. After seeing Holmes' photo from a walk in New York, fans noted that Katie's image would be perfect for relaxing on a yacht with a cool glass of champagne.

The top of the dress was fitted and had a high neck, as well as thin cutouts at the waist, from where the long skirt flared out. She added a golden nose earring and bright red lipstick, as well as some smoky eyeshadow.
