Traditionally, the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Ball, better known as the Met Gala, was held on the first Monday of May, where world-famous stars shocked in their detailed, branded and bizarre looks. The most anticipated fashion event of the year featured both eye-catching outfits and frankly unsuccessful ideas.

Too simple and basic or weird dresses have no place in the top of the best looks, but they confidently took their places in the anti-rating. OBOZ.UA will show you the outfits that looked frankly bad against the rest.

The dress code of this year's event was "Garden of Time", so most of the looks had references to flowers, butterflies, watches, etc.

Amelia Gray Hamlin

American model Amelia Gray Hamlin literally "planted" roses in her short dress, which made the model look much bigger than she really is. The "wet" hairstyle, which for some reason was glued to the star's neck, and dark makeup did not fit in with her light image of a slightly outdated style.

J. Harrison Gee

The Broadway star transformed into a butterfly, adding characteristic antennae and eyes to his head and wings to his back. The pink and blue look with feathers and sparkles certainly caught the eye, but it looked a little too pretentious.
