How to join the trend

To make manga eyelashes with your own hands, you should buy false bundles, but professionals warn that they are more difficult to apply than classic false stripes. Makeup artist Tommy Napoli suggests starting with short or clustered lashes and then moving on to individual lashes. They should be applied to curled lashes without mascara, as "curled lashes help the clusters stay in place." If you add mascara before applying, it can make it harder to see where the lashes are placed. "Save the mascara for last when the lash [glue] is dry," he says.

To glue on eyelashes, dip a single lash in a special glue. "[While] looking in the mirror, glue the cluster onto your own lashes, starting at the outer corner [and] moving towards your nose," the expert explains.
