On November 22, Ukrainian designer Andre Tan presented a new collection Fenix, inspired by the bird of the same name and the indomitable nature of Ukrainian women. The collection is inspired by the phoenix, a symbol of rebirth and immortality.

The phoenix is known to rise from the ashes as a new version of itself, young and strong, and has long been an image of hope for many generations, firmly rooted in mythology and folklore around the world, the fashion designer's press service told OBOZ.UA.

"The phoenix is an inspiring example of how you can find strength in difficult times and adversity, get up and keep moving. I consider a Ukrainian woman, every Ukrainian - all of us - to be a real phoenix today. We get up every day and are reborn in a new day, moving on to victory, because there is no turning back," explained André Tan.

The main feature of Fenix is the use of a large amount of fringe. The collection includes a large number of designer dresses and solutions for everyday items. A special element of the collection is a tuxedo dress with fringe "wings" instead of standard sleeves.

The fringe on the sleeves of dresses, tops and jackets is a pleasant (to the touch and to the eye) detail that creates the effect of movement, freedom and lightness, and adds a refined dynamics to things. In addition to a large number of dresses, there are also long, floor-length maxi skirts that will emphasize beauty regardless of body shape, because they are cut obliquely, at an angle - and thus perfectly fit any figure.

The new collection also has two dominant characteristics. Firstly, it is a traditional functional convenience for Andre Tan, which helps a woman to be a "phoenix" every day and not to worry about her appearance. Because today's Ukrainian woman, due to military circumstances, is forced to perform many tasks and make many more decisions that she could have shared with her husband before, and she does not always have extra time for herself. At the same time, women at any age remain women: they crave attention, they want to feel beautiful, loved and desired.

The second key characteristic of the Fenix collection, which also takes into account these women's needs. The sexiness of designer dresses with fringed sleeves helps to live life in the rhythm of dance and not lose inspiration even in unfavorable circumstances.
