Three makeup mistakes that make you look older: how to fix them
We all want to keep our youth and beauty as long as possible. And makeup can be our faithful ally in this endeavor.
However, it's important to know how to use cosmetics correctly so as not to add to your age. Influencer and beauty guru simply.shira shared on TikTok typical makeup mistakes to avoid.
Brown eyeshadow
Most women apply dark brown eyeshadow directly to the crease of the eye, making their eyes look heavy. It is better to use lighter colors and apply the shadow with a fluffy brush just above the crease of the upper eyelid. This will instantly make your eyes look almost twice as big.
Black eyeliner
Black, although a classic color, adds a lot of age and emphasizes wrinkles, especially if you draw very thick lashes. Try using brown eyeliner for a fresher, more natural look.
Blush
If you apply blush too low, you visually pull your face down. To avoid adding age, emphasize only the upper part of the apples of your cheeks with color.
Contouring
Instead of deepening the hollows on your face, use contouring to give your face an instant visual lift. To do this, simply dot the bronzer in a semicircle as shown in the photo and blend.
Lipstick
Don't use pale lipsticks, but rather choose brighter colors. Also, go for moisturizing textures for a fresher, more youthful look.
