Olena Zelenska arrived in Istanbul on a business visit in a delicate look with an interesting accent. Photo
Ukrainian First Lady Olena Zelenska shared a photo from her official visit to Turkey. She visited Istanbul University, an institution that has been training Turkish specialists in Ukrainian language and literature since 2017.
The photos, published on the first lady's official Telegram channel, show her delicate image in a blue shade. Zelenska wore a pantsuit with an interesting detail on the blazer, which looked like a white handkerchief sewn into the lapel. She complemented the look with nude makeup and wore her hair in a low bun, which looked sophisticated due to the parting to the side. For shoes, the Ukrainian chose light ballet flats with a pointed toe.
"Now they are not only future (or, rather, already existing) translators, but also specialists in international communication who know, love and popularize Ukrainian, and therefore will help to better understand Ukraine in Turkey and vice versa," the statement reads. Istanbul University is considered an ancient educational institution, whose history dates back to 1453, when it was founded by Sultan Mehmed II as the School of Philosophy, Medicine, Law, and Literature.
"I am glad to meet the students of the Ukrainian Studies Department. These young people inspire with their sincere interest in and support for our country. I also talked to their teachers: it is scholars from Kharkiv, Kyiv, Ternopil, and Khmelnytsky who are now passing on knowledge about Ukraine and the Ukrainian language to Turkish youth," Zelenska added.
