How to do smoky eyes makeup with just one product: a star life hack

Smoky eyes are a classic makeup look that never goes out of style. But did you know that it can be done with just one product?

Professional makeup artists say that all you need is a good eyeliner pencil with a satin texture. Fashion designer Victoria Beckham shared on her Instagram all the nuances of using it to create a flawless look.

First of all, make sure the pencil is sharp. If the tip is blunt, you won't be able to draw all the lines accurately enough. So start by sharpening the pencil.

Then draw the line of the upper eyelid close to the lashes. Start with a thin line from the inner corner and gradually make it a little wider from the middle. If you want, go beyond the eyelid by drawing an arrow.

To make your lashes appear thicker, use the same pencil to draw dots between the hairs. Do this on both the upper and lower eyelids. This will also help to create a more natural look than if you were to draw a solid line to line your eyes.

Next, apply a thick layer of pencil on your hand and take an eye makeup brush. Pick up a little product from your hand on the brush and use it as an eyeshadow, highlighting the mobile eyelid and crease to create a smoky effect. Extend this area closer to the outer corner of the eye.

Finally, take a small eye makeup sponge or a short-bristled brush and pick up a small amount of pencil from your hand. Use the sponge to line the lower eyelid. This will help to create a neat shading in this area rather than a line. Complete your daily look with mascara.

If you want to add chic to your look, suitable for an evening out, apply the same pencil to the water line of the lower eyelid, adding depth and drama to your look.
