Why use a primer

Primer creates a smooth canvas for your makeup, providing an even foundation. Famous makeup artist Jamie Greenberg noted that it is a kind of shield before the main makeup application, which also helps to reduce the appearance of pores.

The scope of primers goes far beyond simple makeup. Eyeshadow primer, for example, prolongs the life of any eye cream, reduces oiliness, and prevents the creasing of the eyeshadow.
