"This is a common mistake that people make too often. After all, smiling lifts the cheeks, and what goes up must come down at some point. This means that there will be less blush than necessary, and you will look older," Goss said.

To have a younger look, Goss advises keeping your makeup simple and consistent. Any excessive makeup means you're trying to hide too much underneath. You shouldn't apply many layers of foundation, concealer, or other products that simply prevent the skin from breathing. The mask effect is definitely not flattering. Instead, the dense texture quickly gets clogged into facial wrinkles, creating a rather unattractive look.

"It's important that the design of the brush is well thought out and that the tip captures the hairs, ensuring its density," Goss explained.
