Warming tea with sea buckthorn and ginger: how to save yourself in cool weather
Sea buckthorn is the berry you should add to your diet in the cool months. If you haven't made your own, you can buy it in the store. Drinks with this product are especially useful as they warm and strengthen the immune system very well.
The idea of making healthy sea buckthorn and ginger tea was shared by nutritionist Solomia Naum on her Instagram page.
⠀Ingredients:
- sea buckthorn - 6 tbsp
- fresh ginger root
- lemon (optional) - 1⁄2 pc
- mint - 1 sprig (optional)
- honey - optional
- boiling water - 1 liter
Method of preparation:
1. Beat the sea buckthorn in a blender (you can also use a spoon or mortar, but it is longer and more difficult).
2. Slice the ginger thinly (you can even peel it) and pour boiling water over it.
3. After 5 minutes, add the grated sea buckthorn and a new portion of boiling water.
4. After another 5 minutes, you can add lemon and mint. Put honey only in warm tea, not hot, so that it does not lose its beneficial properties.
