The simplest homemade dessert for tea is a grated pie, the basis of which is shortbread dough. For the filling, you can use any berries, jam, or fruit.
A cook shared a recipe for a very tasty, flavorful, and easy-to-make grated pie on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- chicken eggs - 4 pcs
- sugar -300 g (2 tbsp)
- salt - 5 g (0.5 tsp)
- baking soda - 10 g (1 tsp)
- 82% butter - 500 g (or margarine)
- flour - 900 g (6 tbsp)
- jam - 800 g (2 tbsp)
- powdered sugar
Method of preparation:
1. Combine eggs, sugar, salt, and baking soda. Add soft butter or margarine and mix again. Add flour in portions, stirring.
2. Roll 1/4 of the kneaded dough into several balls for convenience and put them in the freezer for 15-20 minutes. Roll out the main part of the dough, put on a baking tray and prick with a fork.
3. Top with jam (apricot, apple, strawberry, currant) so that it does not reach the edges by 5 mm. Grate the other part of the dough on top and bake at 170 degrees for 25-35 minutes.
Slice the finished pie and serve!
