Culinary expert Yevhen Klopotenko shared on his YouTube channel a recipe and secrets of a delicious, successful, airy sponge cake that you can use to make any cake or pastry.
Secrets of the Chef:
Eggs
They should be at room temperature.
"If you suddenly decide to make a sponge cake and the eggs are in the fridge, just dip them in warm water for a few minutes," the cook advises.
How to whip the whites correctly:
"If there is even a drop of water or fat, you won't get stable peaks. I don't recommend using a plastic container because it's harder to clean from grease. How do you know if the whites are well-whipped? Just turn the container over, and if they don't fall out or leak, you've done well," Klopotenko said.
Flour
Stir it in very gently so that the egg mixture does not fall off.
Ingredients:
- eggs – 3 pcs.
- sugar – 150 g
- flour – 110 g
Method of preparation:
1. Beat eggs in a blender until fluffy, add sugar.
2. Add the flour gently and mix with a silicone spatula.
3. Pour the finished dough into a baking dish with parchment and bake.
