Almost everyone loves sushi. But really high-quality and delicious sushi is quite expensive, so not everyone can afford to eat it whenever they want.

It's time to forget about these stereotypes and learn how to make sushi cake at home. This dish is affordable and extremely tasty. Moreover, it does not require any skills in roll wrapping. A food blogger with the nickname kathycoooks shared how to make sushi cake at home on Instagram.

Ingredients

  • sushi rice - 200 g
  • rice vinegar - 2 tbsp
  • salt - ½ tsp
  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • avocado - 1 pc
  • cucumber - 1 pc
  • lightly salted salmon - 150 g
  • sesame seeds - to taste
  • teriyaki sauce - to taste
  • sweet chili sauce - to taste.

Method of preparation

1. Cut avocado in half. Cut one half into slices and the other half into cubes. Dice cucumber as well. Cut fish into slices.

2. Boil rice in advance according to the instructions on the package. Add rice vinegar, sugar and salt. Leave to cool.

3. Put the avocado slices and then cubes into a large measuring spoon.

4. Add the fish (it can be replaced with crab sticks).

5. Put the cucumber and rice on top and press well.

6. Turn the mold over and carefully remove the cake.

7. Add teriyaki sauce and sweet chili. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
