Universal marinade for all mushrooms with 4 ingredients: an easy recipe
Autumn is the season of mushrooms, which can be used to make many delicious dishes, from mushroom soup to salads and soups. They can also be dried, canned, and pickled.
Food expert Svitlana Levitska shared on Instagram a recipe for a universal and most successful marinade for any mushrooms, which is very simple and quick to prepare.
Ingredients:
- allspice - 1 pc.
- black peppercorns - 5 pcs.
- bay leaf
- mushrooms
Marinade:
- salt - 1.5 tsp.
- sugar - 1 tsp.
- water - 2 cups
- vinegar 9% - 1/4 cup
Method of preparation:
1. Put the mushrooms and spices in a jar, do not tamp too tightly, do not put them close to the neck of the jar, pour water and bring to a boil to dissolve everything, then pour out the water.
2. Marinade: mix everything, bring to a boil, remove from heat, add vinegar and pour over the mushrooms. Spoon the marinade over the mushrooms in the jar.
3. Put the jars in a saucepan covered with a towel, cover with water, bring to a boil, and sterilize for 35 minutes afterwards.
4. Close the jars tightly with lids and turn them over.
