Ingredients for 1 liter jar:

  • 1 leaf each of grapes, cherries, currants
  • 1 bay leaf
  • black pepper - 0.3 tsp.
  • several pieces of sweet pepper, onion and 1 clove of garlic
  • sugar - 2 tbsp
  • salt - 0.5 tbsp
  • 9% vinegar - 2 tbsp.
  • acetylsalicylic acid - 1 tablet

Method of preparation:

1. Put all the leaves and black pepper on the bottom of clean jars.

2. Fill with tomatoes to the middle.

3. Put pepper, onion, and garlic.

4. Put the tomatoes on top.

5. Add sugar, salt, and vinegar.

6. It is better to crush the acetylsalicylic acid tablet (however, they will dissolve anyway) and add to the jars.

7. Pour boiling water over and immediately roll up tightly.

8. Wrap with a warm blanket at least for a day. The tomatoes should warm up well.

9. After an hour, the lids may swell, this is normal. Then they will fall off.

10. Store in a cool, dark place.
