Spicy Georgian salad: how to prepare this budget dish
Simple ingredients like tomatoes and cucumbers can be served in a very unusual way in the form of a Georgian salad. The secret lies in the original nut dressing, which makes the dish very spicy, aromatic and tangy.
The recipe for the Georgian salad with walnut dressing was published on one of the cooking blogs (cook_with_me_at_home) on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- cucumbers - 5 pcs.
- cherry tomatoes - 500 g
- red onion - 1 pc.
- greens: dill, cilantro - 1/2 bunch each
Dressing:
- chili pepper - 1/2 pc.
- garlic - 3-4 cloves
- nuts - 70 g
- sour cream - 4 tbsp
- apple cider vinegar - 2 tbsp
- salt
Method of preparation:
1. Wash cucumbers. Peel and cut them into half rings.
2. Wash tomatoes and cut them in half.
3. Cut onion into thin half rings.
4. Wash and chop greens. Put all the ingredients in a salad bowl.
5. To prepare the dressing, whisk all the ingredients in a blender. Remove chili pepper seeds.
6. Dress the salad with the prepared dressing.
