Spicy adjika with apples and chili for the winter: recipe for the most successful sauce
Adjika is a delicious, spicy and easy-to-prepare sauce that is ideal for meat dishes. It is based on tomatoes, apples, hot peppers, garlic, and spices. It is worth noting that every housewife can adjust the acidity of the sauce by adding more or less of this or that ingredient.
Culinary expert Yevhen Klopotenko has shared a recipe for a delicious adjika made from tomatoes, chili peppers, apples and garlic, which is very spicy and tasty.
Ingredients:
- tomatoes - 1.5 kg
- onion - 2 pcs.
- carrots - 3 pcs.
- sweet pepper - 2 pcs.
- sour apples - 3 pcs.
- chili peppers - 3-4 pcs.
- garlic - 2 heads
- sunflower oil - 1/2 cup
- vinegar - 1/2 cup
- sugar - 100 g
- salt - 1.5 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the vegetables, peel and cut them into medium-sized pieces to fit in a meat grinder.
2. Pass the tomatoes, sweet pepper, chili, and apples through a meat grinder.
3. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and add salt, oil, sugar and vinegar.
4. Cook adjika over low heat for about 60 minutes. Add the chopped garlic 10 minutes before it is ready.
5. Pour the hot adjika into sterile jars and preserve.
