Instead of gravy, you can cook stewed beef for potatoes and porridge. This meat is quite dietary. But if you cook it properly, it will be soft and juicy enough.
The idea of cooking juicy stewed beef was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Svitlana Levytska (lanas_diet). First, the meat needs to be fried.
Ingredients:
- beef - 1 kg.
- butter - 40 g
- salt, pepper for rubbing
- flour for rolling
- bell pepper or hot pepper - 10-12 pcs.
Mix for the sauce:
- mayonnaise - 2 tbsp
- apple cider vinegar - 2 tbsp (or any other white non-aggressive 6% vinegar)
- sweet paprika - 1 tsp
- dill - a few sprigs finely chopped
Method of preparation:
1. Season beef well with salt and pepper.
2. Roll in flour on all sides and rub well.
3. Fry until golden brown.
4. Put the meat in a dish.
5. Mix all the ingredients for the sauce.
6. Brush the meat with the cooked mass.
7. Add peppers.
8. Cook in a multicooker at low temperatures for 8 hours. You can also cook it simply under the lid on low heat.
