Instead of pies: delicious cottage cheese donuts for tea in 30 minutes
Donuts are a delicious, easy, and quick to prepare pastry product, which is always based on dough. It doesn't have to be made only from flour; for example, cottage cheese dough will be tastier. It's worth noting that donuts can be made with different fillings: chocolate, berries, fruit, and nuts.
Chef Anastasia (anny.cooking ) shared a recipe for delicious, cottage cheese donuts on Instagram, which are very light and airy.
Ingredients:
- egg - 1 pc.
- sugar - 2 tbsp
- vanilla sugar - 10 g
- butter - 1 tbsp.
- sour cream - 1 tbsp
- cottage cheese - 250 g
- flour - 200 g
- baking powder - 1 tsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Beat the egg with sugar, and salt, then add the melted butter, and mix.
2. Then add sour cream, cottage cheese, flour, and baking powder, and mix well.
3. Knead the dough with your hands, roll it into a sausage, and cut it into 12 pieces.
4. Roll the balls, press them down, and cut out the center.
6. Put them on a baking sheet lined with parchment, and brush the top with a mixture of egg yolk and milk.
7. Bake the donuts for 25 minutes at 180 C.
