One of these useful tips was shared on TikTok by a user with the nickname homewithtayx. She explained how to use a cheese grater correctly.

In the video, the blogger took a regular grater and put it in a horizontal position. Then she just started grating cheese as usual. As a result, all the grated cheese ended up on the bottom plate of the grater and not a single piece got past it.

Shredding cheese in this way has great advantages. Firstly, all the cheese remains in the grater itself and does not scatter on the work surface. Secondly, when you're done grating, you can simply pick up the grater and pour all the shredded cheese into the container where it should be. That is, this method will not only make it easier for you to grate the cheese but also to transport it to the right place, leaving the work surface clean.
