The first rule is to fry potatoes immediately after cutting them. Before placing the vegetable in the air fryer, dry it thoroughly with a kitchen towel. This gets rid of excess moisture, which is a direct way to an extremely crispy crust.

The second rule is to cook potatoes in small portions. Although this is not ideal for serving a large number of people, it is a tip that is really worth using. But there's a third tip from Martin, which is to position the potatoes correctly in the air fryer. When you need to feed a crowd, the chef recommended arranging the potatoes in a crisscross or grid pattern in the air fryer. This allows the hot air to fully circulate around them for a deliciously crispy appearance.
