Fluffy dumplings with cherries: how to make a successful dough
As soon as the cherry season begins, you immediately want to treat yourself and your family to something delicious. And what could be even better than dumplings? You don't have to bother with them at all, because you just need to make the right dough. Water, milk, or kefir – the choice is yours. But there's one caveat: cherry dumplings are so delicious that they disappear from the table in minutes.
Food blogger Olga Vivchariuk shared a recipe for dumplings with cherries on her Instagram page, where the dough is made with milk.
Ingredients:
- flour - 350 g
- milk - 200 ml
- oil (sunflower) - 3 tbsp.
- salt

Method of preparation:
1. Sift the flour.
2. Add salt and oil to the flour.
3. Bring the milk to a boil, then pour it into the flour. Knead the dough. Knead for about 5-7 minutes, then leave to rest for 15 minutes.
4. Meanwhile, wash and peel the cherries.
5. Roll out the dough and cut out circles.
6. Put 3-4 cherries and 0.5 tsp of sugar on each circle. Form a dumpling.
7. Cook the dumplings for 5 minutes in boiling water.
