Delicious plum pie: it turns out to be very fluffy and juicy
Plums are a very versatile juicy fruit that can be pickled, dried, and even dried. But while this product is available fresh, it is worth actively using it in cooking. A pie is perfect for this.
The idea of making a plum pie was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Olena Hermaniuk (lienagermaniuk).
Ingredients:
- sugar – 150 g + 1 tbsp for sprinkling
- eggs – 2 pcs
- butter (82 %) – 120 g
- flour – 150 g
- salt – 3 g
- baking powder – 1 tsp
- cinnamon – 1 tsp
- large plums – 7 pcs (14 halves)
Method of preparation:
1. Take the butter out of the refrigerator in advance so that it becomes soft. All ingredients should be at room temperature.
2. Beat the butter with the sugar at low mixer speed until smooth ~ add one egg at a time and beat each one with the sugar-oil mixture for a minute.
3. Add a pinch of salt – add the flour and baking powder to the dough and beat for another minute until smooth.
4. Put the dough into a mold greased with butter and covered with parchment.
5. Turn on the oven to 175 degrees.
6. Wash and pit the plums.
7. Put the plums on the dough with the skin on top, and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. This sprinkle should turn into caramel.
8. Bake in a preheated oven for 30-40 minutes.
