- cherries without pits
- sugar - 2 tbsp
- starch - 1 tbsp
- mix sugar with starch

- flour - 280 g
- water - 180 g
- salt - 0.5 tsp
- vegetable oil - 3 tbsp.

1. Mix flour and salt and make a depression in the center.
2. Pour in oil and boiling water and stir quickly with a fork until the flour is moistened.
3. Then put it on the table and knead the dough well (5 minutes).

4. Cover with a towel and leave to rest for 30 minutes. It is important not to cover with plastic wrap or film as the dough will become moldy and sticky.
5. Divide the dough into 2 parts, roll out each and cut into small pieces.

7. Next, roll each piece of dough into thin ovals.
8. Pour a little sugar and starch in the center and put 2-3 cherries in. Pinch the edges.

10. Stir gently and cook for 5 minutes after they surface (the water should not actively boil).
11. Put the finished varenyky on a plate, brush with butter and sprinkle with sugar. Serve with cherry sauce.

12. For the sauce, take a glass of cherries, 1 tbsp of starch, 1-2 tbsp of sugar and 50 g of water.
13. Stir and crush the cherries to make them juice.
14. Heat for a few minutes until the starch thickens slightly (add more water if necessary).
