Why you shouldn't buy sliced bread: an unexpected answer
Today, the vast majority of housewives prefer to buy sliced bread and not spend a lot of time slicing it at home. But the product in this form is nothing more than a marketing ploy. Sliced bread has some disadvantages that can harm health.
The FoodOboz editorial team has gathered information for you and will tell you why sliced bread from the store is harmful and why it is better not to buy it.
There is an answer to this question – sliced bread spoils much faster than a whole loaf. The reason is that the area for mold damage increases due to slicing. How does this happen? It's simple: a certain environment is formed inside the bag, in which the bread is quickly saturated with moisture and is unable to "breathe". Accordingly, the process of emergence and reproduction of various microorganisms is accelerated.
But this is not the most important thing. When slicing bread, bakeries use special knives that are lubricated with oil. Not to speak for everyone, but not every manufacturer is willing to spend expensive oil on this. Usually, it is a cheap analog.
But even if you happen to buy such bread, it is advised to put it in a linen bag at home. This way, it will last longer. If the product becomes stale, it can be sent to the microwave, and slightly moistened with water.
