1. american pumpkin pie with cinnamon

American Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients:

  • Pumpkin - 900 g
  • Wheat flour - 400 g
  • Butter - 250 g
  • Chicken egg - 3 pcs.
  • Sugar - 200 g
  • 30% cream - 200 ml
  • Cinnamon, vanilla and salt - to taste

Method of preparation:

  1. Sift the flour twice, rub the butter and add, knead well with your hands to form a crumb.
  2. Beat the egg with salt and add to the same, mix well and knead the dough and send it to the refrigerator for 50 minutes.
  3. Wash the pumpkin, cut off the rough skin, cut into cubes and boil until ready, then - chop in a blender until homogeneous.
  4. Add egg, sugar, cream, cinnamon, vanilla and mix.
  5. Roll out the dough or immediately put it in a mold with your hands, pour the pumpkin puree on top and send it to the oven for 50 minutes at 190-200 C.

2- Pumpkin with couscous, raisins and garlic

Pumpkin and couscous

Ingredients:

  • Pumpkin - 1.5 kg
  • Oil - 2 tbsp.
  • Boiling water - 1 cup
  • Couscous - 1 cup
  • Raisins - 100 g
  • Onion - 1 pc.
  • Garlic - 4-5 cloves.
  • Spinach - 300 g
  • Pine nuts - 30-50 g
  • Parmesan - 50 g

Cooking method:

  1. At the pumpkin cut off the cap, clean out, salt, pepper, grease with olive oil and send in a preheated oven to 200 C for about 20 minutes.
  2. Wash the couscous and raisins well, salt and pour boiling water over them and leave them to steam.
  3. Heat a frying pan, pour in the oil and fry a well diced onion.
  4. Add spinach, chopped garlic to the pan, mix and add couscous with raisins, cheese and nuts, mix and stuff the pumpkin with this mixture.
  5. Send it to the oven for 20 minutes at 180-190 C.
