Popular chef Vasyl Mishlen shared a recipe for pasta with meatballs in tomato sauce on his Instagram page.

Recipe for pasta with meatballs in tomato sauce

Ingredients:

• minced beef – 300 g
• onion – 1 pc
• eggs – 1 pc
• oregano – 1 tsp
• chili flakes – 1 tsp
• breadcrumbs – 5 tbsp
• salt – 1 tsp
• butter - 20 g

Meatballs in tomato sauce for pasta

• tomato sauce – 400 ml
• garlic – 5 cloves
• dried basil – 1 tsp
• sugar – 1 tsp
• spaghetti – 300 g

Method of preparation:

1. For the meatballs, mix the minced meat, chopped onion, egg, oregano, chili, pepper, breadcrumbs and salt.

2. Form the meatballs. Fry in butter. Fry on all sides.

3. Then add chopped green onions and garlic. Also, add tomato paste. Simmer for a few minutes.

4. Pour a little water, add basil and sugar.

5. Meanwhile, boil the pasta.

6. Mix the cooked pasta with the meatballs.
