Oatmeal is a healthy, very filling, and easy-to-prepare dish that is ideal for breakfast. Despite all its positive properties, children often refuse to eat it, but this problem can be fixed by simply adding delicious berries, fruit, or cottage cheese.
How to make delicious oatmeal
Chef Yevhen Klopotenko shared on his website an original recipe for delicious oatmeal with cherries, nuts, and honey that children will love.
Ingredients:
- oatmeal - 150 g
Oatmeal
- milk - 300 ml

- fresh or frozen cherries - 80 g

- ground cinnamon - a pinch
- honey - 2 tbsp.

- pumpkin seeds - optional
Nuts for oatmeal
- walnuts - 30 g
- butter - 20 g
Brown sugar, salt and cinnamon for the dish

Method of preparation:
1. Wash the cherries and remove the pits.

2. Put the oatmeal in a saucepan and pour in the water, add salt, bring to a boil and pour in the milk. Add cinnamon and cook for 3 minutes.

3. Turn off the heat, add the butter and let the porridge stand for a few minutes under the lid.
