Mannyky or semolina pies are a traditional Ukrainian dish that is mostly found in the Poltava region. They look like round pies with a filling. Mannyky are made with semolina, but they need to be formed quickly while the semolina is still hot so that it doesn't stick together when cold. The dish is fried in a pan. Thanks to this, the pies are very tender inside and have a light, pleasant crust on the outside.
Food blogger Tetyana (tanyushina) shared a recipe for semolina pies with sweet cottage cheese filling on her Instagram page.

6. Dip each pie in egg and fry in butter on both sides.
