Tuna carpaccio: how to make a restaurant dish at home

We are all used to the idea that restaurant dishes are multi-component and expensive. But this is not true of all culinary masterpieces. For example, to make an exquisite tuna carpaccio, you only need fish, lots of seasonal herbs and vegetables, and a few ingredients for the dressing.

  • tuna - 100 g
  • oyster sauce - 1 tsp
  • black pepper
  • arugula

Ingredients for Mexican salsa:

  • tomato - 1 pc.
  • red onion - 1/2 pc
  • hot pepper - 1/3 pc
  • garlic - 1 clove
  • parsley or cilantro - 1 tbsp

  • lime juice - 1 tsp
  • olive oil - 1 tbsp
  • salt
  • black pepper

Method of preparation:

1. Cut the tuna into slices 5-7 mm thick and carefully pound it to a thickness of 1 mm using cling film.

2. Put the beaten tuna in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

3. Finely chop the vegetables for the salsa.

4. Drizzle with lime juice.

5. Add salt, pepper and olive oil.

6. Put the tuna on a plate.
