Sweet fried pies with berries: a recipe for a successful dough
Fried pies can be made with milk and kefir dough. Berries, apples, cottage cheese, and salty fillings such as meat, cabbage, and mushrooms can be used for the filling.

Ingredients:
- kefir 400 ml (preferably warm)
- oil - 3 tbsp. l.
- soda -1 tsp.
- salt -1 tsp.
- sugar - 1 tbsp.
- 2 eggs
Filling:
- 500 g currants + 100 g sugar + 25 g starch
Method of preparation:
1. Combine flour with baking soda, mix well.
2. In a separate bowl, mix the eggs, kefir, sugar, salt, oil and add the flour, mix with a spatula and continue to mix with your hands on the surface. The dough should be soft and elastic. Let it rest for 15 minutes under a towel.
3. Filling: mix the berries with sugar and starch, cook in a frying pan, stirring constantly.
4. Divide the dough into equal portions of 50 g each. Form balls and roll each into a round layer, fill with the filling and pinch the edges well.
5. Fry in hot oil on both sides, placing the patties seam side down. Put them on a napkin to prevent them from getting greasy.
