Ingredients for 5 kilograms of plums:
- sugar – 40 tsp.
- salt (rock) –10 tsp.
- apple or wine vinegar – 13 tsp.
- bay leaves
- olive oil – 10 tbsp.
- cloves
- water

1. Wash the plums and let them dry.
2. Sterilize the jars.
3. Put the bay leaf in the jars, 1 piece in each jar, and 2 cloves, plums.

4. Pour hot water, not boiling, but so that the water is 80 degrees.
5. Let stand for 15 minutes.
6. Drain the water from the plums into a saucepan and add the rest of the ingredients.

8. Pour the marinade over the plums, cover, and sterilize for 1-2 minutes from boiling.
