Cherries are not only a sweet filling for pies or dumplings, but also a great base for making a savory sauce. The berry is very juicy and has a natural sourness. With this addition, the meat becomes very flavorful and has a pleasant taste.

The idea of making a spicy cherry sauce for meat was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Svitlana Levytska (lanas_diet).

Ingredients:

  • drilled cherries - 400 g
  • grated ginger (you can add dried on the tip of a knife) - 1 tsp
  • anise - 1 pc
  • cinnamon - 1/3 of a stick (the less you like cinnamon, the less you should use, but at least give a drop, because it creates an unsurpassed spicy note)
