Shortbread biscuits with pear: prepare a delicious dessert in minutes

Galette is a flat pastry made from different types of dough and with any filling. The dish came to us from France and has taken root because it is quite easy to prepare, and the taste is always different.

A food blogger with the nickname zhuravlina cooking offered a recipe for biscuits with pears on Instagram. To make this dish, she used shortcrust pastry, which tastes great in combination with the aromatic fruit.

Ingredients

  • Flour - 200 gr
  • Sugar - 1 tbsp
  • Butter - 100 g
  • Salt - ¼ tsp
  • Cold water - 3-4 tbsp.

Ingredients for the filling

  • Pear - 2 pieces
  • Sugar
  • Honey and nuts - optional

Method of preparation

1. Grind cold butter with flour into crumbs.

2. Add sugar, salt, cold water and knead the dough for a few minutes. Put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or in the freezer for 7-10 minutes.

3. Cut the pear into slices.

4. Sprinkle the parchment with flour, put the dough, roll it out with a rolling pin. Sprinkle with sugar, the amount of sugar as desired. Put the pear and sprinkle with sugar again.

5. Fold up the sides, brush with egg yolk. Put in a preheated oven to 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes.

6. It is better to eat the finished biscuit chilled. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with nuts.
