Quick pita bread roll: can be eaten as an appetizer or as a snack
The pita bread roll is a versatile appetizer that will decorate a festive table and serve as a quick snack for every day. It's simple: wrap whatever you have in the fridge in pita bread and enjoy. Everything is suitable for the filling: vegetables, hard and cream cheese, meat and ham, minced meat, red fish, tuna, and greens.
Food blogger Kateryna Kudlyak (recepty_przepisy) shared a recipe for a salty pita bread roll on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- pita bread 1 pc\tortilla - 4 pcs.
- red bell pepper - 1 pc
- yellow bell pepper - 1\2 pcs
- ham\lightly salted salmon - 250 g
- cream cheese - 250 g
- green onions - 1 bunch
- salt and pepper
Method of preparation:
1. Prepare some ingredients: pepper and ham cut into cubes, chop the onion.
2. Mix pepper, ham, and onion, adding cream cheese, salt and pepper. Mix well.
3. Put the filling on a tortilla or pita bread sheet and roll it up.
4. When serving, cut into portions and garnish with herbs if desired.
