Ingredients:
- white cabbage - 1.5 kg
- beetroot - 1 pc
- carrot - 1 pc
- garlic - 0.5 heads
- hot pepper - to taste
marinade:
- water - 1 liter
- sugar - 3 tbsp
- salt - 3 tbsp
- 9% vinegar - 0.5 cups
- bay leaf - 2 pcs
- peppercorns - 10-15 pcs
Method of preparation:
- Wash the cabbage, tear off the top leaves and cut into large pieces.
- Peel and chop the beets and carrots, cut the garlic in half, and chop the hot peppers randomly.
- For the marinade, mix water with sugar, salt, pepper, and bay leaf and bring to a boil. Turn off the heat, pour in the vinegar, mix thoroughly and pour over the vegetables in the pan.
- Then press down and refrigerate for 24 hours.
You will get delicious, crispy pink cabbage that will be a great treat.
