Pork will be very soft and juicy: how to cook meat with prunes
Pork combined with prunes is a real explosion of flavors. The meat becomes very flavorful, juicy, and spicy. And such an exquisite dish is prepared simply in a frying pan.
The idea of cooking juicy pork with prunes was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Valeriia with the nickname valeria pytel. You will also need a lot of seasonal vegetables.
Ingredients:
- meat (pork shoulder) – 300 g
- onion – 1 pc
- carrot – 1 pc
- cabbage – 0.5 pcs
- salt, pepper – to taste
- sugar – 1 tsp
- bay leaves – 1 pc
- tomato paste – 3 tbsp
- prunes – 10 pcs
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the meat into strips.
2. Pour the oil into the pan and add the meat.
3. Fry until white.
4. Add the onion, cut into medium dice.
5. Fry for a few minutes.
6. Add the carrots, cut into strips, and simmer for a few minutes.
7. Chop the cabbage and mash it a little with your hands.
8. Stir in all ingredients.
9. Add salt, sugar, and paste.
10. Stir everything, cover, and simmer over low heat.
11. A few minutes before cooking, add prunes, bay leaves and pepper.
