Olivier is a classic salad that we have known since childhood. But now it has been replaced by other dishes, so to keep it popular, some housewives are trying to give it a new lease of life.

For example, food blogger Yulia Mikulich did a great job. On Instagram, she showed how she cooks olivier in a new way. She also surprised us by serving this salad in the form of a cake.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes - 3 pcs
  • Onion - 1 pc
  • Chicken fillet - 1 pc
  • Canned peas - 1 can
  • Korean carrots - 120 gr
  • Cucumbers - 3 pcs
  • Eggs - 5 pcs
  • Mayonnaise

Method of preparation

1.Fry the chicken fillet until cooked.

2. Boil potatoes and eggs.

3. Assemble the salad. Grate the potatoes on a fine grater and put them in the first layer. Add a little salt and brush with mayonnaise.

4. Chop the onion and put it on the potatoes. Brush it with mayonnaise.

5. Cut the meat and put it on the onion. Brush with mayonnaise.

6. Put the peas on the meat. You can do without mayonnaise.

7. Slice the Korean carrots and place them on the peas. Brush with mayonnaise.

8. Grate the cucumbers on a fine grater, squeeze them out, put them on the carrots, add a little salt and put them on the carrots. Spread with mayonnaise.

9. Grate the eggs on a fine grater and put them on the cucumbers. Add the mayonnaise.
