No-bake chocolate cookie cake: easier than an "Anthill"
It's more than possible to make a delicious cake without turning on the oven. Instead of regular dough, you use cookies, and instead of classic cream, you use chocolate and butter. This cake is somewhat similar to the famous "Anthill" dessert, but it is even easier to prepare.
Food blogger Viktoriia Kelbas (kelbas_v) shared a recipe for a chocolate cookie cake that doesn't need to be baked on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- shortbread cookies – 370 g
- dark chocolate 74-80% – 250 g
- butter – 150 g
- sugar – 150 g
Method of preparation:
1. First, you need to prepare some ingredients for cooking, namely, chop the cookies into medium-sized crumbs, and melt the chocolate in a water bath (150 g).
2. The butter should be at room temperature, so it is advisable to take it out of the refrigerator 2 hours before cooking. Beat the butter with sugar until smooth.
3. Mix the resulting mass with melted chocolate and cookies. Stir to combine. The cake batter is ready.
4. Cover any pan or deep bowl with cling film. Grease the bottom and sides with butter. Spread the chocolate dough thickly. Put the future cake in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours.
5. The remaining chocolate will need to be melted and decorated with the finished chilled cake.
