If you're still cooking rice by simply pouring water over it and turning on the heat, we recommend reading this article and taking your cooking to a whole new level. Once you try it once, you will realize how important it is to know and use life hacks for cooking rice, because then its taste will reveal itself in a completely new way.

Andy Hernden, a Michelin-starred chef from New Zealand, shared on his YouTube page how to cook rice so that it never sticks together. It is about the "bone-in" technology, which is now used in the most expensive restaurants in the world.

First, rinse the rice thoroughly until the water is clear. Next, put the rice in a saucepan and fill it with water to 1 phalanx. This method of calculating water is extremely simple and important. Just put your index finger into the pot so that its tip touches the surface of the rice. Then add water until it completely covers the first phalanx of your finger.

Thanks to this simple and elementary method, you will never make a mistake about the amount of water needed to cook rice properly again. It is also very useful when you do not know the exact weight of the rice you are going to cook. No matter how much rice is in the pot, the amount of water should always be one phalanx higher.
