Ingredients for the cream:
- eggs - 2 pcs
- flour - 2 tbsp
- butter - 100 g
- sugar - 150 g
- milk - 1 liter
- vanilla sugar - 1 tsp

- sugar - 180 g
- vanilla sugar - 1 tsp
- lemon juice - 2-3 tsp
- leavening agent - 1.5 tsp
- butter - 50 g
- flour - 450-500 g

1. Place eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, part of the milk and flour in a skillet. Stir until smooth.
2. Add the remaining milk, turn on medium heat, and stirring all the time (it will take about 20 minutes) until thickened.

3. Remove from the heat, add the butter and stir (whisk with an immersion blender if necessary). Cover with clingfilm in contact and leave to cool.

1. Put eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, lemon juice, baking powder and mix everything in a bowl. Add room temperature butter and mix everything again.
2. Then add flour in three steps, first mixing with a spoon, and then transferring the dough to the surface, knead with your hands. Knead elastic dough that does not stick to your hands.

3. Divide the dough into 10 pieces, roll out each piece, sprinkle flour, cut out a circle (approximately 20 cm) with a plate of appropriate diameter and carefully transfer to a dry heated pan and bake on both sides for a few minutes.
4. There will be characteristic bubbles on the surface of the shortcake. Use the dough left over from the scraps to bake an additional 3 cakes, which will be used for crumbles to sprinkle over the cake.

5. Overmask the cakes with cream, cover the sides and sprinkle with crushed crumbs. Put the cake in the refrigerator, preferably overnight.
