Napoleon cake without kneading and baking: how to make a cake in 15 minutes

Napoleon is a cake that will always find its fans. It takes a lot of time to make this dessert according to the original recipe. Therefore, if your family likes this cake, you can use a variant that does not require baking cakes - cookies are suitable for the base.

The idea of making a lazy Napoleon cake from cookies was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Yulianawith the nickname kitchen_yuliana_ .

Ingredients for the cakes:

  • 500 g ready-made puff pastry

Ingredients for the custard:

  • 500 ml,
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 g of sugar
  • 3 tbsp of flour
  • 1 pack of vanilla sugar
  • 50 g of butter

Method of preparation:

1. For the cream, mix eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, flour in a saucepan, stir and add milk (cold), mix thoroughly and put on fire. Stirring constantly, cook until it thickens. Add the butter at the end.

2. Put the biscuits in the split mold, dipping them in the still warm milk beforehand - this way the cake will soak through faster.

3. Put cookies in the mold, then cream alternately. Leave a few cookies for sprinkling.

4. Put the cake in the refrigerator for 4-5 hours, or better yet, overnight.

  • sugar - 1 glass
  • baking soda - 0.5 tsp
  • flour

Cream:

  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • flour - 2 tbsp.
  • milk - 2 cups
  • butter - 180 g

Method of preparation:

1. Preparation of the dough. Mix cottage cheese, eggs, sugar and baking soda.

2. Gradually add the flour and knead soft, elastic dough. Leave for an hour.

3. Meanwhile, prepare the cream. Mix the eggs with sugar and flour until smooth.

4. Put on low heat and gradually pour in the milk, stirring. Cook until thickened. Then let it cool completely.

5. Meanwhile, roll out the dough and divide it into 6 equal parts. Form the cakes.

6. Fry the cakes in a frying pan on both sides.

7. Add butter to the cream and mix.

8. Assemble the cake and leave it to soak.
