If you've been wanting to make a delicious Lviv cheesecake for a long time, now is the time to do it, because it's very easy to prepare. You just need to choose a good, fatty cottage cheese and make a delicious caramel sauce.

Culinary expert Yevhen Klopotenko shared on his YouTube channel a recipe for a delicious Lviv cheese cake with potatoes, which takes only 60 minutes to prepare (to watch the video, scroll to the end).

Ingredients:

  • cottage cheese - 800 g
Homemade cheese
  • flour - 1 tbsp.
  • potatoes - 2 pcs.
  • butter - 50 g
Chicken eggs
  • eggs - 4 pcs.
  • lemon - 1 pc.
  • sugar - 180-200 g
  • lemon - 1 pc.
Orange peel
  • orange - 1 pc.
  • vanilla sugar - 1 tsp.
  • raisins - 50 g
  • salt - a pinch

Sauce:

  • cream - 150 ml
  • sugar - 150 g

Method of preparation:

1. Mix cottage cheese, sugar in a bowl, add eggs, 1 tbsp of flour, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt.

2. Wash the orange and lemon, grate the zest and add to the prepared mixture along with the softened butter and blend.

3. Add the raisins to the finished mixture.

4. Boil the potatoes and grate them on a fine grater, add them to the dough and mix.

5. Put the dough into the mold and put it in the oven for 60 minutes at 180°C.

6. Sauce: pour the sugar into a saucepan in a frying pan, add a pinch of salt, let a little sugar melt, then pour in the cream and quickly mix the mixture with a whisk.

7. Stir the mixture until it becomes homogeneous.
