Homemade lollipops are sweets that everyone has known since childhood. They are budget-friendly, easy, and quick to make. They are also very popular with children. Especially if you make some colorful lollipops and serve them effectively on a stick.

Basic rules of cooking:

  • Cook the caramel to a temperature of 150 degrees, otherwise the lollipops will leak. You can check the readiness by dropping a drop of caramel into cold water, if it becomes solid, it's ready.
  • If the caramel in the saucepan begins to harden, put it on the stove and warm it slightly, but do not boil or stir.
  • The lollipops harden completely in 10-15 minutes. After that, they should be put into bags and stored in a dry place. The shelf life is 6 months.

Ingredients:

  • white sugar - 110 g
  • glucose syrup - 50 g
  • water - 40 ml
  • silicone mat
  • water-soluble paint (optional)

Method of preparation:

1. Mix all the ingredients (except the paint) in a saucepan with a thick bottom and bring to a boil over medium heat. After the caramel boils, it is advisable not to stir it. In general, cook the caramel for about 8 minutes after boiling.

2. After that, remove the saucepan from the heat and add the coloring, if desired. Stir the caramel.

3. When the caramel stops bubbling, pour the lollipops onto a silicone mat. Do it quickly and insert the sticks from the bottom before the caramel thickens.

4. Leave the lollipops to cool completely.
